Behavior analysis

Behavior analysis: when behaviors happen, by day and hour

Every +1 tap and every timed run is stored with its time. The Analysis tab turns them into a heat map for each behavior, so you can see which days and which hours are busiest. Nūr Evoke counts. Your BCBA reads the pattern.

See the pattern, not only the count

A map of the week, for each behavior

Built from the data your team already records in sessions.

A heat map for every behavior

Each behavior gets its own map of the days of the week against the hours of the day, with the busiest time noted.

Built from time-stamped data

Taps on +1 and timed runs carry their time, so the map fills in as sessions are recorded.

Choose the range

Look at the last few weeks, and show or hide weekends.

Export the numbers

Export the occurrences as a CSV file for your own analysis or a report.

Beside ABC charts

ABC rows have their own day-and-hour chart, so what was recorded as episodes and what was counted in sessions can be compared.

Counts only

Nūr Evoke shows what was recorded. It never says what a pattern means.

How behavior analysis works

  1. 1

    Record in session

Tap +1 on a behavior or time it during the session.

  2. 2

    Open the Analysis tab

Choose the weeks you want to look at.

  3. 3

    Read the map

See the busiest days and hours for each behavior, and export the data if you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Where does the time of day come from?

From the time of each +1 tap and each timed run recorded in a session. Older entries that have no time show the day-of-week pattern only.

Can I export the data?

Yes. The Analysis tab can export the occurrences as a CSV file.

Does it tell me why a behavior happens?

No. It shows when behaviors happen, and your BCBA interprets it.
